Hello after a week long break! This is a post about not posting. :) The hubby and I are in the midst of a lot of changes including a move so please bear with me during the month of July and perhaps the first weed of August. I will post when I can but since this may also be my last free time before starting a job, I want to milk the writing/reading time for all it's worth (checking Facebook/email and doing chores :) ).
Also, VA, MD and DC were hit by a storm on Friday that was not a tornado but sure felt like one. At one point in time, over 1.5 million people were without power. As of yesterday it was down to 650,000. We are lucky and have power but the hubby's grandmother was not quite so lucky. Thankfully, she lives close by so we were able to scoop her up and deliver her to air conditioning. Seriously, this lady is 100% adorable. It must run in the family because she and my husband are the only two people I know that I regularly just stare at and think, "You are SO adorable!"
I'll be by your blogs a bit but probably not as much as normal. See you very soon though and I may have a few short posts in July!
Good luck with your move, Libbyland!
ReplyDeleteGlad you all are safe, Libby. Also, good luck with the move!
ReplyDeleteGlad you've got your AC. It's been hellish here, and we don't have the humidity. Make the most of your break. I know I've been enjoying mine, though I think I'll jump back into the blogosphere this week. I'm feeling pretty good about the stuff I got done on the novel. See you when you get back.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you have power!!! Thank God you could save the hubs' grandmother. I really worry about the elderly in this awful heat with no power. Good luck with everything! "see" you soon! :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move! I hope you have an easy time once the actual moving happens. :-)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with your move and the new job! You were so nice to help your husband's grandma during this hectic time. Stay safe! Julie
ReplyDeleteHope you have a smooth move and best on the new job. I know the DC area can be brutal in the summer. I remember some very violent storms there.
ReplyDeleteHope al, going well with you. Good luck with your move and your book.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the move! I can't wait to see your next book. I've definitely missed seeing you around and chatting with you, so I hope yo see you around more soon!
ReplyDeleteThere is much vacationing and other stuff going down in the blogosphere, so you're in good company. Sort your business and come back when you're ready. We're not going anywhere. :)
