I have no idea how I got onto Paramount's mailing list, but I'm glad I did. I Heart Anchorman. It came out when I lived in Seattle and a bunch of my friends saw it and didn't like it. I saw it and loved it. I couldn't stop quoting it. I fell in love with Brick. I still call San Diego a whale's vagina. I can't help it. That movie rocks!

Its only bad to promote films to your friends if the films suck! Thanks for showing this! I've gotta go back and watch the first one again! I didn't really like it much, but so many people talk of liking it, I think I just wasn't in the right mind set when I saw it the first time!

I saw the first one in theaters, probably one of Will Ferrell's best. I hope 2 is just as good.

ReplyDeleteLove the use of APP music in the clip. Love the Over The Top cheesy humor. i don't love everything Will Farrell does, but Anchorman is and was brilliant satire - especially living in SoCal from the 80's forward, we got to SEE this stuff in Real Life.
Your cred is impressive--Paramount. Wow! This movie looks like American humor, which doesn't always go down too well here in England. It's strange how each nation develops a different sense of humor.
